Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa

The name speaks for itself when it comes to the hotel’s philosophy: Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa combines the words 'Kamal' (lotus) and 'Alaya' (Kingdom). From immemorial time this stands for growth and development of the human spirit. Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa is a multi-awarded, holistic wellness and healing resort. Absolute wellbeing and total exploitation of the personal potential is what it’s all about. Kamalaya’s vision is based on the founder’s and owner’s expertise. Karina Stewart is a Master of Traditional Chinese medicine and her husband John used to live as a Yogi Monk in the Himalayas for 17 years.

Location

The Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa is located in southern Thailand directly on the immaculate beach of the south coast of the island of Koh Samui, known and loved worldwide for its dream beaches.

An absolute highlight on the property is a cave used in former times for meditation by Buddhist monks. Even today this place is a hideaway of self-awareness, quietness and calming down.

Koh Samui can be reached quickly and easily. From Bangkok International Airport one-hour domestic flights are operated by Thai Airways and Bangkok Airways several times a day and bring tourists to the island of dreams. For those including their stay at Koh Samui into a Thailand round trip direct flights from Phuket to Koh Samui are also available. Combining a stay in Phuket with trips to other international destinations it’s good to know that Bangkok Ariways, Silk Air and Firefly are offering direct flights to/from Koh Samui from/to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore or Hong Kong.

From Koh Samui Airport the Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary & Holistic Spa can be reached within a 45-minutes car drive.
